Who is providing this notice?

Park National Bank, its parent company Park National Corporation, its divisional banks, First Citizens National Bank and Southern Heritage Bank, and the Affiliates identified below.

What We Do

How does Park protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We permit only authorized associates, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to such information.

How does Park collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • open an account or apply for a loan
  • deposit money or use your credit or debit card
  • pay your bills

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
  • Affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Our affiliates include Scope Leasing (dba Scope Aircraft Finance) and SE Property Holdings.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Park does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.

Joint Marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include credit card companies and investment companies.

Other Important Information

California Residents: Under California law, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of Park, unless the law allows. For example, we may share informationn with your content, to service your accounts, or to provide rewards or benefits you are entitled to. We will limit sharing among our companies to the extent requred by California law.

Nevada Residents: We are providing you this notice pursuant to Nevada law. We will not share information about your creditworthiness within our corporate family except with your consent, but we may share information about our transactions or experiences with you within our corporate family without your consent.
